Bethel Assembly of God has been involved in Chaplaincy since 2001. There are several qualifications that one must complete to be a Chaplain with Bethel Assembly. If interested one must make application with Lead Chaplain Chuck Kish. Application and manual can be obtained by emailing [email protected] The following are current places we have Chaplains.

• Carlisle Police
• North Middleton Police
• Cumberland Goodwill EMS
• Cumberland County Sheriff (Ridealongs with Deputies)
• Cumberland County Sheriff (Court rooms are focus)
• Market Cross Pub (Bar Chaplaincy)
• Community Chaplains (Carlisle Cares is the focus)

Also, we are  training Chaplains to focus on ER waiting rooms at CRMC , Harrisburg Hospital, Hershey Hospital and Chambersburg Hospital.

The Caring For You Comfort Line is available every week from Mon-Sun 6pm-10pm.

Training for the Comfort Line is every fall for 30 hours total. If interested contact Vicky Stirkey for more info regarding being involved. You can obtain her contact info by calling the church office. Our Caring for You Comfort Line is currently being distributed by Cumberland Goodwill EMS, Carlisle Police and North Middleton Police.
